My name is Michaela Christine, born and bred in the West Country, a 'proper' Bristolian with Celtic heritage, and a little bit of Viking blood!

Mum to two grown up Son's, a Daughter and Nana to two adorable grandsons. Who are all a constant reminder that life is so short, and you need to spend it with people who make you laugh and feel loved.
Home is in the South Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds in a beautiful historical town called Thonbury where we have our own castle that once belonged to Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Thornbury Castle boasts a unique and magical setting perfect for a fairy-tale wedding.
I am a professional Celebrant with an NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy, specialising in unique personalised ceremonies. I trained with Civil Ceremonies Ltd, the only OFSTED Outstanding provider training in professional celebrancy.
My Journey
I started my working life helping my parents run their pub. This is where I fell in love with music, all kinds of music from classic Motown, to dance. A love affair that still exists today.

Originally, I trained to be a teacher but found music to be far more exciting and often found myself running around the countryside promoting and chasing sound systems! This is where I learned the ropes of marketing.
A long career working in gift industry followed. Connecting emotions and stories became my passion. I shared many of these stories on QVC as a guest presenter for over a decade and met a few celebrities along the way!
Inspired by a fellow presenter, and many years later, I find myself working for a wonderful charity supporting my local community and beginning my journey as a celebrant.
My passion for people and their unique journey is what inspired me to become a Celebrant. I love stories of every kind. Being trusted with these stories and weaving them into words to be shared I find a real privilege and I can't wait to hear yours!
